PLAYFUL AMPERSAND

An ordinary symbol becomes a fashion icon

is an experimental typography project taking the common “and” symbol and quite literally bends and reshapes it to create seven exquisite entities. 

The traditional ampersand was derived in the 1st century by combining the letters e and t. While time has given it minor design changes over the years, nothing as dramatic as this project has come close. The inspiration was drawn from the world of fashion with sexy curves and silhouettes, composing melodic shapes that create a stylistically unique impact in upscale designs.
